"As of this writing I have been on 6 Habitat for Humanity builds. Whether domestic or international, the Habitat experience gives one a chance to have a hands-on impact on the lives of people here, and elsewhere, for whom substandard housing is the norm. Using materials and building styles appropriate for the region, Habitat volunteers do whatever is necessary - from digging foundations to raising roofs. The work is rewarding, and the people I've met - homeowners and fellow volunteers - have been wonderful! Visit the Habitat for Humanity website or take a look..... |
